In Acts 9:15-16 we are told, “But the Lord said unto him, “Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.” I doubt that any of us would know Jesus had it not been for Paul. The only problem is that we don’t want to leave the old teachings and the four walls behind and adopt the teachings of Christ. Paul is one of many bridges to Christ. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus and Paul
Jesus never condemned homosexuals. It was Paul, a strict Pharisee that became a believer, who carried forward the teachings that we still have in place today. Paul said in I Corinthians 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” We know that thieves do enter the kingdom of heaven because one of the thieves that hung on the cross with Jesus did go to heaven that very day. (Matthew 27:38, Mark 15:27, and Luke 23:39-43) “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Paul did not understand the association between adultery and the other things that he mentioned, but Jesus did.

King David’s adultery
King David committed adultery with Bathsheba. Solomon, who was a child of that relationship, most likely was a homosexual himself. Jesus said in Matthew 6:28-29, “And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Luke 6:27, “Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Jesus understood the cause of homosexuality and spoke out strongly against adultery.

Jesus…doctor and psychiatrist
Jesus said in Luke 16:18, “Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery; and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.” When Jesus said this, he was considering the best interests of the first family – most especially the children of the first family and their future generations. Jesus is the best psychiatrist and doctor that we could ever have. He was more interested in prevention rather than the cure. Unfortunately, most people fail to consider his words. Jesus said in Matthew 15:18, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” Because of adultery, our future generations suffer for us and are left with no choice but to go for the cure. Keep your generations perfect. Save the first family!

Adultery and homosexuality
With generation after generation of adultery within families, the associated dysfunction begins to manifest itself among our children and we begin to have homosexual children. It is unnatural and unhealthy to bring an unrelated adult into our children’s home and into their parent’s beds. Unfortunately, the frequency of adultery is increasing and so too is the increase in homosexuality among our children. It seems that we must always blame our children instead of placing the responsibility where it belongs – on the shoulders of the adults that have committed adultery. Adultery is a generational curse against the children of the first family, their children, and their children’s children.
