Jesus never condemned homosexuals. It was Paul, a strict Pharisee that became a believer, who carried forward the teachings that we still have in place today. Paul said in I Corinthians 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” We know that thieves do enter the kingdom of heaven because one of the thieves that hung on the cross with Jesus did go to heaven that very day. (Matthew 27:38, Mark 15:27, and Luke 23:39-43) “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Paul did not understand the association between adultery and the other things that he mentioned, but Jesus did.
