Watch

“For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” (Mark 13:34-37)

God gave men the authority to care for the family members living in God’s house until he returns. How many of these men beat their wives and their children into submission. Respect is something that is earned – not forced. Men use your hands to do good and you will be be richly rewarded.

The beginning of the End

Mark 13:14-16, “But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judea flea to the mountains: And let him that is on the house top not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.”

Desolation means to be deeply depressed even to the point of considering suicide. The person is referred to as an “it”. I think that this verse is referring to someone that is neither male nor female – a transgendered individual. These people are so unhappy with their gender that they are willing to pay a sick doctor huge sums of money to make them appear to be the opposite sex. I think that this is an abomination in God’s eyes. It is one thing to be homosexual and I can understand how adultery can confuse our little children about their own gender, but to take it to this step is an abomination.

Do our men really care?

Two thousand years ago, Christ came and tried to tell us that what we are doing is wrong. Before Jesus’ arrival many servants had been sent to bear the message – some were beaten and others were killed. Then God sent his own Son thinking that these men would respect his son and keep his teachings, but he was wrong. Our men killed his son and cast him out so that they could keep his vineyard for their own.

Jesus is the first born child of God and Mary. He is the cornerstone of a family that includes Joseph and Joseph’s children with Mary. Neither God nor Mary abandoned their son. How many of our men willingly abandon their children of the first family for another woman and his children with her? Instead of it being God’s family, it is a man’s family. Men still desire to rule over God’s vineyard. Save the first family! (Mark 12:1-11)

Abuse

God created us with love in mind. God gave us the gift of hands and feet so that we could work and provide care for our families. There are some that use this great gift to harm children, women, and other men.

Jesus said in Mark 9:42, “And whosoever shall offend one of theses little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.”

Jesus even suggested that it is better for an abuser to cut off his own hand rather than use it to hit others. It is also wrong for us to take another man or another woman into our arms for the purpose of committing adultery and fornication. Adulterers are much more likely to abuse children from a previous marriage.

“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Mark 9:43-44)

Based upon what Jesus said, those that inflict emotional and physical pain upon others, retain their ability to feel pain even after they die.

God is about love, repentance, and forgiveness – not sacrifice and punishment! Do not use your hands to hurt or harm others! Do not break up a family!

Leadership

Jesus spoke about two different types of leadership. The scripture below describes top down leadership and bottom up leadership. What type of leader are you and which type of leaders do you follow?

“Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you shall be your minister. And whosoever of you will be chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:42-45)
