Who are the lost sheep?

“I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)

Many children of the second family living today will say, “It’s not adultery!”, when discussing their parent’s situation. These children know that they are protected – lawyers, laws, and their parents have placed them first.

The children of the first family have been pushed aside and are living in a most unfortunate situation. The abnormal family has replaced the normal family. Our children of the first family are forced to suffer in silence because it is “legal”!  Jesus took a stand for the first family – he called adultery for what it is – Adultery! Don’t be fooled by what the children of men say! Save the first family by putting the second family into their proper place – second!

The Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners…

What would you do if Jesus told you that you could not marry another man’s divorced wife?

What would you do if Jesus told you that you could not divorce your wife and marry someone else?

What would you do if Jesus told you that you can not abandon your children for another woman and her children?

Jesus said in Matthew 26:45-46, “Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners…Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.”

The least of Jesus’ brethren

“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” (Matthew 35-36)

“…Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)

Adultery is one of the most damaging things that we can do to our families. There are many sons of the first family or their children in jail and prison, homeless, sick, hungry, and thirsty. Our culture is against first families and favors the second family. With adultery, it is the second family that is lifted up by force through step-parents. It takes a willing and submissive parent to let this happen. It all depends upon who the father or mother is living with -their first or second spouse.

Mothers, do not invite an unrelated stranger into the family home to sleep in your bed. Fathers bear the responsibility when they abandon their wife for another woman. Even still, mothers please do not commit adultery by bringing a man into your children’s home!

Ready, set, go!

Putting a family back together may seem complicated but actually it is very simple. It requires a bit of a shuffle, but the most important ingredients are love, repentance, and forgiveness!

Jacob said that the gathering of the people would be done this way for Judah’s people. “…unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine…”. (Genesis 49: 10-11)

Step 1: “Binding the foal unto the vine…” The foal is a new born that is younger than a colt, with the children of the first family being older. The vine is the family. The vine starts with the first family. So, it means for the man to bring the children of the second family to the first family – the first wife and her children with him.

Step 2: “and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine…” The ass’s colt is the firstborn child of the first wife. This child is carrying a heavy burden because of the sacrifices required in order for the second family to be first – the opposite of a normal family. This is the reason that he used the word “ass”. The father in many cases is the “ass”that created this mess and carries most of the responsibility. Together the man and his first wife left up this firstborn child to the primary leadership position within their family. It is the same position that would have been the child’s natural position had the ass not moved in with and married another person.

(A man is never ever supposed to marry a divorced woman. For this reason, a second husband and his children with the child’s mother remain on the side lines.)

“But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” (Matthew 19:30) Where there is adultery, the first family becomes last and the second family becomes first. We must not let the unnatural family appear as the natural family! Save the first family by putting the family back into its natural order!

Give to the poor

Jesus met a young man who had not murdered anyone, did not steal, had not committed adultery, had not been a false witness, honored his father and mother, and loved his neighbor as himself. This man thought that he was perfect, but there was one thing that was missing. Jesus said, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.” (Matthew 19:21)

“Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:23-24)

When we die, we leave behind all earthly possessions. Nothing comes with us. But during our life, there are many that will cherish their possessions. Riches are a distraction from God. We have many that are in need and yet we would rather give to a foundation or an organization rather than help our neighbor. When we see the poor on the street asking for help and we do not help them, we are not loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. Jesus said for us to ask and it shall be given. Our homeless are asking us for help and yet we pass them by. They are not stealing from us, but instead are doing the noble thing which is to ask with a sign or sometimes merely their presence. Some will refuse to give them water to drink.
