According to a PEW Research Center study that was conducted in 2011, researchers reported the following:
1. 60% of blacks had a step-relative living in their home
2. 46% of hispanics had a step-relative living in their home.
3. 39% of whites had a step relative living in their home.
So, I must ask you, Who is hurting the most from broken families and broken homes? Overall, blacks are hurting the most, but we are all hurting. Every child has a mother. Every child has a father. No one should be given the opportunity to separate our first families! Keep step-relatives out of your homes. Do not commit adultery!

The statistics are astounding! According to PEW Research studies, one hundred million Americans have a step relationship of some kind. About one third of all marriages today form step families. Worse still, forty-two percent of adults eighteen years old and older, are either a step-parent, a step-child half brother or sister, or a step-brother or step-sister .
Do these step-parents and their children love the children of the first family as much as the love their own children? According to studies, only fifty-six percent of step-parents were willing to provide financial support and caregiving to the children of the first family. And of these fifty-six percent, how many take from the first family to give to their family? How many abused and neglected the children of the first family while taking good care of their own children? The stakes are high for step-parent’s and their children! They are very likely to become the sole beneficiaries or the controlling beneficiaries of everything that the child’s parents have!
Jesus did not call Joseph his father or his step-father. Every child has a mother and a father! Where are they? They are with the child’s step-parents! Our children must sacrifice much in order for their parents to commit adultery!

According to the PEW Research Center, in 2013, only 46 percent of our children age 17 and younger were living with both of their parents. The other 54 percent of our children had parents that had moved out and were most likely living with someone else or were living alone so that their partner could play house with someone else. Some parents had totally abandoned their children. When parents move out and move in with someone else, they are devoting their time and energy to the second family at the expense of the first family.
*15% of our children had parents where one or both had remarried someone else.
*34% of our children were living with a single parent.
*5% of our children had no parent living with them.
For comparison, in 1960, 73% of our children were living with both their mother and their father. Could it be that back in 1960, that people started following the examples of the parents of the 27% of children that had left their children in order to live with someone else? Today, broken homes out number first family homes.

I’ve posted before about how premarital sex affects the stability of marriages by making divorce more likely. But there has been more research published since. Let’s take a look. Here a good study on relationship tempo and relationship quality. Abstract: Rapid sexual involvement may have adverse long-term implications for relationship quality. This study examined the tempo of sexual intimacy and […]

Our little children literally learn to physically walk by faith. Our little children genuinely love. Our little children are our examples of how we should live our lives. Love your children enough not to abandon them for any other grown up. And for those that desire to break up a family, love these little children enough to stay away. Our little children genuinely need both their mother and their father. Demonstrate your love by not committing adultery against these little children and their family.
Jesus said, “Suffer (Let) little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of a God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.”(Luke 18:16-17)
