This is my beloved Son…

Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on a mountain and was transformed before them…his face like the sun and his clothes white as light. Moses and Elias were there. A bright cloud overshadowed them and a voice came from it that said “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” The disciples fell to the ground with fear. Jesus said, “Arise, and be not afraid.” When they got up, Jesus said, “Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. (Matthew 17:1-9)
