All or Nothing!

Jesus did not give us any options. His message was very specific – either we accept all of what he taught or things will beak and fall apart. We cannot mix the “old law” with the “new law”. Punishment does not mix with love, repentance and forgiveness. Today, our laws, lawyers, and police still represent the “old law”, while many outside this system try to implement Jesus’ plan. According to Jesus, it will never work. He said in Mark 2:21-22, “No man seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.” Which do you choose…the “old law” or “the new law”?
