Adultery both ways

Men and women both commit adultery when they put away their spouses and marry someone else. It does not matter if the first union was sanctioned by a rabbi, priest, pastor, or justice of the peace, when two people lay together a commitment is required. All of our little children need their fathers and their mothers. When divorce does occur, we are never supposed to marry for a second time. The act of marrying for a second time and moving with the second person is adultery.

According to Mark, Jesus said, “Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.” (Mark 10:11-12)
