Jesus said in Mark 10:18-19, “Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, God. Thou knoweast the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.”
Adultery is a sin that has the potential to reach out and cause harm to many generations – much like an octopus with tentacles. In homes where adultery is present, children are sometimes abused and killed. Sometimes the child’s parent that has committed adultery may be killed by the other parent or one of the adulterers. Adults may take things from the children of the first family in order to give to their own children – the ones that they have with the child’s parent. Adults frequently defraud the children of the first family legally in order to acquire the property of the child’s parents so that they can give to their own children. Adults take the child’s parents away from the children of the first family. Adults that have committed adultery seldom listen to their parents when they tell them that they are harming the children of the first family. All of this and more can happen in a home where adulterers live.
