Mothers, brothers, and sisters

Question: What did Jesus mean when he talked about mothers, brothers, and sisters in Matt 12:48-50 and Luke 8:21? Why didn’t he mention fathers?

Answer: Mothers are the mother of the body and the mother of the soul. God is the Father of our soul. Men are only the father of the body and not the father of the soul. We are all mothers, brothers, and sisters of Jesus’ soul family if we do the will of God.
