Our doctors are vigorously searching for a cure for the many illnesses and maladies that can make us sick or even cause premature death during our lives. We at Family Matters Publishing are interested in prevention rather than the cure. As the old saying goes, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”, we prefer to study whole families instead of individuals. We believe that by studying families as a whole that we can better understand what causes illness within our family members and why most of us die significantly short of our 120 year potential life span. Some studies indicate that 68% of breast cancer patients had no family history of the disease. If that is the case, there must be a cause for this new disease to be introduced into our family trees.
