This title makes the man king and invites any woman of his choosing to fit into “his” family. Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, nor Jacob and Rachel used this title. These men are our examples of sons of God. It is time to give up Judah’s law and start following Jesus.
Jesus said, “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together; let no man separate.”(Matthew 19:5-6)
