What did Jesus mean?

What did Jesus mean when he said, “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh, What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.” Matthew 19:6, Mark 10:9

Does this mean maybe or might be okay? Or does it mean, under no circumstances must we let anyone male or female separate what God has joined together?

Adultery hurts…or does it?

Adultery hurts…or does it?

How many women have you known, that have children with more than one man, that became alcoholics?

How many men have you known, that left their first wife for another woman, that gave up everything to the other woman?

How many children have you known that were abused by step-parents or live in lovers?

The members of the first family are loosing everything to the second family!

NO SUBSTITUTES NEEDED

If parents and the other woman or man kept these commandments,

“…Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.” (Luke 18:20)

none of our children would have to live with a step-parent or live in lover.

Step-parents are much more likely to introduce fear into the lives of our children. When Jesus said, “Do not be afraid”, that applies to adults and children.

FEAR

It is obvious today, that we have many people living in fear. We also have many that are trying to cause others to become fearful. When we fear, we enter into an unnatural state where irrational thinking overtakes logic. The wrong side of the brain, the right side, is dominating.

Jesus said, “…thine eye be single, thine whole body shall be full of light.”(Matthew 6:22)

Be right eye dominant with both sides of the brain working together! Walk by faith!

The Cycle of Shame.

Our children, and most especially our sons, suffer much for adulterers and adulteresses. Our fathers are so naive that they give the family name away along with the family property to another woman. In this scenario, it is easy to understand how a man could abandon his own children. It is also easy to understand that when these sons grow up, how they could steal and have problems in their relationships with women.  This is where “the law” steps in to harden their hearts permanently.

Fair Play

If we are going to punish our sons and daughters for breaking “the law”, then we must also punish their fathers and mothers that abandoned them for another man or another woman. I believe that those that abort, kill, abandon or harm their own children should be labeled felons too! Let’s treat them fairly!
