Put your families back together!

To “love thy neighbor as thyself” requires that the members of the second family love the members of the first family. The second wife and the children of the second wife are commanded to love the divorced or abandoned first wife and her children. The second husband and the children of the second husband are commanded by God to love the divorced or abandoned first husband and his children with his first wife.

The only way that we will ever see Jesus again is for us to put our families back together! So, if you truly love Jesus and want to see him again, now is the time to start preparing for his second coming!

Matthew 10: 38, “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”

Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls, For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until…

Jesus said in Matthew 24:38-39, “For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered unto the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Genesis 6:8-12, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations; and Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”

Many think that it is not necessary to keep their generations perfect, but according to what is written in Genesis and the words spoken by Jesus, it really does matter! Noah and Isaac’s generations were perfect. God gave us Abraham and Jacob as examples of different types of families that still managed to keep their generations perfect. All of these men; Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; kept their first family first. And so these fathers, mothers, and children of the second family continue “…eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” as though nothing will happen. Save the first family!

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem

Jesus said in Matthew 23:37-39, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her children under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”

It is absolutely amazing that two thousand years after Jesus walked this earth that there are still countries that stone and hang people on the cross for punishment. The lost children of Jacob’s house still refuse to put their families back together. They divorce, remarry, and have multiple sexual partners without regard for the entire family. Around the world the laws are set up to benefit the second family while discarding the first family. And even after Christ’s coming, we still prefer the laws of the lost children of the house of Israel over the laws taught by Jesus. A chicken has enough sense to gather all of her chicks under her wings and not just the two or three that hatched last. Our world is left desolate because of the laws that many follow that are unnatural and unhealthy for the world and for our Families! This is the reason that miracles are rare on this earth. Jesus cannot bless us when we do wrong. Put your families back together and get ready for Jesus’ second coming! Save the first family!

Men were Lords

Even the disciples thought that Jesus must have been joking when Jesus said in Matthew 19:9 “Whosoever shall put away is wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth, her which is put away doth commit adultery.” The disciples answered Jesus with the following statement, Matthew 19:20, “If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.”

Back in Jesus’ time and as many men still feel today – they thought that they were superior to women and that all “good things” were for them. Little concern or thought was given to mothers, women, or children. But God is our Father and he wants the best for all members of His family. His commandments matter more than the commandments of men that Jesus spoke about.

In Luke 2:23, “(As it is written, in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord.)” Then in Luke 2:39, “And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.”

Lords in those days were lawyers and politicians. These men were big because the word “Lord” is capitalized. Lords were men of high esteem within the community and they believed that males were superior even at birth over their own mothers. Mothers are the vine and we are the mothers of God’s children, so we are important too. Marriage and family are a partnership and a commitment – one that must be respected and loved. God knows about every hair on our heads – we had better do His will! Save the first family!

Not all men are rulers over God’s household

“Matthew 24:45-51, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods, But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

God’s household consists of a man’s entire family. Many men think that their household is under the roof with their second or third or fourth wife. These men are “drunk” on the laws of the kingdom. They sit, eat, and drink with other men with similar values. If these men were rulers, their family would be intact and not broken and divided. They have discarded family members so that they can pretend to be “one flesh” with another woman.
