Do you have enemies living in your household?

According to Matthew, Jesus said, “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

When a man crosses the line and commits adultery, his life is forever changed. Just as we have seen in Abraham and Jacob’s families, a second wife in many cases can be very selfish. But the greatest problem of all arises when the man moves in with his second wife and lives with her and her children.  When this happens, the father must prove his love by making her children more important than his children. Many will go further by abandoning their children from the first family. All of these things helps to minimize the confusion that adultery creates – an adulterous  family begins to look like a normal family. But the cost is great for the man and for his abandoned and separated children of his first family. Jesus repeatedly said “Do not commit adultery!” He said it because he loves our men and our fathers. How many will heed his warning?

 

Introductions

It is strange how some men will fail to mention all of their children when talking about their family. This is especially true when a man has committed adultery by divorce and remarriage. But Jacob never denied being the father of any of his children. I wonder if God denies knowing us if we have denied our own children?

“And these are the names of the children of Israel, to which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons…”(Genesis 46:8-27) “…And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.”(Genesis 46:30)

According to Luke, Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.” (Luke 11:17)

Many of our men will introduce the children of their second wife by name and then mention that he has other children without mentioning their names at all. There are other men that will say “these are our children”, meaning the children of him and his second wife that he is living with while completely omitting his other children. These are all examples of houses divided and families that are divided. All of this is so that a man can play house with another woman. Our children must suffer much for the adulterers and their children! Save the first family!

Our natural heirs

If Jesus is the heir of all of the families of the Earth and Joseph’s tribe is the natural heir of Israel, then our firstborn sons of a man’s first wife are the natural heirs of their father’s and their mother’s property.

Step-parents and their children must never be the sole heirs to the child’s parent’s property! Where adultery is involved, quite often the second family becomes the sole heir. The children of the first family are eliminated as heirs in order to benefit the step-parent and the children of the second family.

Instead of trickle back from the second family to the first family, we should have trickle down from the first family to the second family. This can only happen in families where the mother and the father keep their first family first. Quite often, when the second family inherits the child’s parent’s property, they will keep everything for themselves. Parents – bless your natural heirs! Save the first family!

Two very important heirs

“For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and every man his work, and commanded his porter to watch.” (Mark 13:34)

Every home around the world belongs to Jesus and to his Father. When Jesus returns, will he find our men living in a house with their second wife and her children instead of with their first wife and her children? All of our men are servants…are they keeping the commandments?

“And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.” (Genesis 48:21)

Jesus is the heir of the Earth and all who live here. Joseph is the heir of Israel. The tribes of Leah’s sons must step aside and give Israel back to the tribe of Jacob’s firstborn son with his first wife, Rachel. Save the first family!.

Children – lead the way!

According to Mark, Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” (Mark 10:15)

Our children are God’s most perfect creation. Their faith is amazing. They are born being totally dependent upon their father and mother for their care and become walking and talking children within a very short time. They do not believe in the commandments of men. They truly love!

Jesus said, “whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me…” Adultery is one of the most damaging things that we can do to our family and to our little children. When adultery happens, our children begin to realize that they are vulnerable, begin to doubt their parents love, and their faith is shaken. Children should never have to worry about themselves, but around adulterous parents and step parents, they must be careful about everything that they do for fear of disapproval and punishment. Mothers – protect your children from the confusion of adultery by not marrying for a second time.  Fathers do not offend your children by committing adultery! Do not let anyone separate your family! Save the first family!
