Prepare for the Hereafter – Repent and Stop Sinning!

In Jesus’ conversation about the rich man and Lazarus, the poor man, he added, “But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receievedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. (Luke 16:25-26)

The rich man was responsible for Lazarus, his neighbor, and took no notice to help him. In order for his five brothers to be saved, he requested that Lazarus go to his father’s house, warn them about the hereafter, and tell them to repent. Abraham said to the rich man, “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” (Luke 16:16:31)

Even still today, men do not hear what Jesus said. “Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.” (Luke 16:18) God loves his entire family and not just the part! Save the first family!

The Rich and The Poor

Give to the poor that ask of you! Love others as you love yourself! Share!

Jesus said, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Then the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool his tongue. “But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.”(Luke 16:19-25)

Family Is Forever!

So, you think that you can go to a lawyer and get a divorce. You really believe that you can walk away from your first wife and your children with your first wife. (The same thing applies to women that think that they can walk away from their first husband and even their children with him.) Wrong! – read what Jesus said.

“And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery, and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband, committeth adultery.”(Luke 16:17-18)

It is easier for heaven and earth to fail. You (and no man or woman on the earth) do not have the power to break up God’s family! So…if you are the other man or the other woman…move over, because what you are trying to do just might cost you your eternal salvation. God loves his first family! And if there are children from the second family that have taken things from the first family that are not theirs – give them back! The land of Israel is an example. It belongs to Joseph and his descendants. It is time for the children of Jacob’s second wife to give the land back! They took something that does not belong to them!

How do you choose the right religion?

Jesus said, “Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”(Luke 16:15-16)

The Jews in Israel, which are the descendants of Jacob’s second wife, like to make their philacteries wider with thread and to call men “Rabbi”. Other men create special rules for their followers to follow so that they feel important before other men in their special “church”. The commandments of men and special clothes do not make us Holy! The words of Jesus are our words for salvation and we must firmly plant our feet in his words and his ways. Today, we have many different religions because men press their commandments into the word of God – the words of Jesus. We have no more law and prophets since John because men are creating their own religions instead of following Jesus! Jesus said that there would be many false prophets. Put Jesus first in your life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life!
