Do you live in a house or do you live in a home?

Children of the first family live in a home until their parents divorce and remarry. There is a shift when step-parents and partners have children with the child’s parent. This is when it becomes the home of the second family and a house for the child or children of the first family. And to prove, wait until the child’s parent dies and then the step-parent, the children of the second family will totally control the emptying of the contents of that home. In this situation, nothing belongs to the children of the first family because the parent has given it all away by moving in with and committing adultery with another person.

Let Them Have It All!

If you have left your remarried parents and their house, your remarried brothers or sisters, your remarried wife, your remarried husband, or land that could have been yours because you honor Jesus’ words, then you will have everlasting life!

Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.”(Luke 18: 29-30)

Our Children Wish that the Nightmare would End

“But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” (Matthew 19:30) This statement is so true regarding our broken families. When a parent, married or unmarried, decides to leave the family for another grown-up, there seldom is a turning back. Few parents try to put things back together. Children are forced to live in broken homes with unrelated people sleeping in their parents’ beds. This is how the first family becomes the last family and the last family becomes the first family. Family members are replaced in order to make room for the new members. In this situation, our children must forsake houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, wife, children, or inheritances. Do not commit adultery – don’t put your first family last!

Can a pill fix your family problems?

We are almost to the point where we have a pharmacy and a church on every street corner. But, I ask you this…Can either a pill or a church fix your family? Does sedating family members solve your problems?  Only Jesus can help you fix your family. If you want to know more about God’s plan for His family, go to Matthew, Mark, Luke,  and John in your Bible.  Jesus is God’s son and his words were recorded for you and me. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Put him first and you will begin to see genuine healing in your broken family!
