Family is not an option – it is the only way!

Based upon what Jesus said, family cannot be defined by a marriage license, divorce decree, or adoption certificate. Family is based upon the love between two people and the respect for the family by others. The ones that never die are the wives and husbands that keep their family intact by keeping their first family first. Don’t be like Esau, Jacob’s brother, that took two wives at the same time. A family starts with one man and one woman that love each other. Together, this man and this woman are one flesh. This couple never dies because their souls live forever. Do not force your children to marry someone that they do not love or to marry someone that does not love them. Put the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob first in your life. Protect your family from the ways of this world!

Jesus said, “The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die anymore: for they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
For he is not a God of the dead but of the living: for all live unto him.” (Luke 20:34-38)

Is Your God the Same God That Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Served?

There is only one God. All three of these men, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob kept their first family first and not last. These men kept their generations perfect and their family intact by keeping their first family first. If you have committed adultery, your first spouse is last and someone else is first. The same is true if you have committed adultery and have children. The children of the first family will be last and your children that you have with the person with whom you have committed adultery will be first.
Jesus said, “Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.” (Luke 16:18) This verse does not selectively apply to only one religion. It applies to all religions – Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Protestant, Catholic, and everyone else. It is time that we get back to the basics and return to God’s family plan and not the plans that have been written by men. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! Trust him and his Father!

Has God Abandoned Our Sons?

There are many of our young men that are angry because they falsely believe that God has let them down. In actuality, the problem is that our sons’ fathers are not there for them. Their fathers are with another woman and her children. He is the one that has let them down.
God did not create our men to could go from woman to woman. He created men to be the protectors and providers for God’s children. A second woman is not more important than the children of the first family!

Zacchaeus Righted His Wrongs

There was no mention of, “Don’t commit the crime if you can’t do the time.” Instead, there was genuine love, repentance, and forgiveness. What are you doing to right your wrongs?

There was a short rich man named Zacchaeus that climbed a sychomore tree in order to see Jesus as he came through Jericho. When Jesus saw him, he said, “Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house.” (Luke 19:5) Zacchaeus rushed to come down, but as he departed with Jesus, the people complained that Jesus was eating with a sinner. Zacchaeus defended himself and said, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I gave to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”
Jesus responded to Zacchaeus by saying, “This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:9-10)
Based upon this scripture, Zacchaeus must have also been living with his first wife and first family because he said that he was a son of Abraham.

Does money and power make us more important?

There are some that think that their position in life makes them more important than others. Take the time to give great customer service to everyone. Serve others as Jesus served us – love!

Jesus said in Luke 22:26-27, “But ye shall not be so, but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serves? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that doth serve.”
