First or Second – which is more important?
God’s plan was to bless all of the families of the earth through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. All of these men kept their first family first. Our families cannot be blessed at the expense of the first family and through adultery!
(Genesis 12:3)
Jacob did not punish the lost children in his family. Leah’s son laid with one of Jacob’s wives; Leah’s sons killed Shechem, Dinah’s love; and Leah’s sons eliminated Joseph from “their family”.
Jacob said that Leah’s sons make him”stink”.(Genesis 34:30)
Judah’s law heaps punishment onto the confused children of the first family! Adultery is extremely harmful to our firstborn sons and grandsons! God please find a way to free these sons from the burdens placed upon them by lawyers and their police. Please find a way for them to live the life that you planned for your sons of the first family. Please God, do not continue to let the sons and daughters of the second family to have it all.
Do you trust in Jesus or do you trust in lawyers?
Do you live by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John or do you live by a 2,000 page criminal and traffic law manual?
Do you choose to love, repent, and forgive or do you choose to punish?
Are you related to one of Abraham’s grandsons? Are you a second family that replaced a first family?
Jesus said, “”If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are Abraham’s seed, but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” They answered and said unto him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father.””(Matthew 8:36-50)
Over fifteen hundred years after the birth of Jacob’s sons, Jesus said the following words: “I am not sent but unto the Lost sheep of the house of Israel.”(Matthew 15:24)
Are there any countries left that respect the first family? Jacob’s second family – the one that he had with Leah – wanted to be first. But the second family must never be first!
Follow Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s example. Keep the first family first and keep your family together!
Do we trust in God the way that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did?
Or do we trust in lawyers the way that Judah did?
Through law, Judah found a way to permit the last to be first and the first to be last. He legalized adultery and turned the family upside down.
“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”(Genesis 49:10)
James, Joses, Juda, and Simon were Jesus’ half-brothers, but none except James came to believe in him! Jesus’ family was similar in many ways to our families that are made up of broken homes. The children that end up with two parents seem to think that they are the family. All of Jesus half-brothers waited for Jesus to come to them. Only James came to Jesus and accepted him as the cornerstone of their family. It is time for the children of the second family to come to the cornerstones of their family and accept these children for who they actually are – cornerstones – the most important members of their family!
Adultery is a curse on our future generations. If you are living in adultery – stop it! Adulterers are last – not first!
Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”(John 8:11)
God did not replace Jesus!
God did not replace Jesus with any of Jesus’ half-brothers or half-sisters. God kept his first family with Mary first. Men must follow God’s example and keep their first family first.
“Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.”(Luke 22:69)
“When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing nearby, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, “Woman, behold thy son!” Then saith he to his disciple, “Behold thy mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her into his own home.””(John 19:26-27)
Who are the lost sheep?
Jesus said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”(Matthew 15:24)
Jesus also said, “Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”(Mark10:11-12)
Adultery has nothing to do with love.
Divorce has nothing to do with love.
Adultery and divorce separate and divide.
Love includes and does not separate.
The children of adulterers are also the lost children of a broken home. They will continue with the practices of adultery. They will work to keep the first family last so that they can be first in everything.
A word of warning for those that do iniquity…
The first family is permanent! Jesus said that they are one and he warned the doers of iniquity that offend family members and separate the family. (Mark 10:9)
“The Son of man shall send forth his angels; and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:42-43)
The first family really does matter. Is splitting up this family really worth the sacrifice?
