TYRANNY

Tyranny

Tyranny is the “cruel, unreasonable use of power and control.”

It is wrong to imprison anyone for years and years of their life because of a law. This solves no problem. It only creates more.

Jesus said that he would have mercy and not sacrifice.

We are imprisoning our children whose fathers and grandfathers have left them for another woman. This is wrong! Our children should not be held accountable alone! Put adulterers behind bars!

Which is more important – a sidewalk or a child?

Which us more important – a sidewalk or a child?

Our laws do not permit us to impede pedestrian traffic on sidewalks and yet our laws permit step-fathers, step-mothers, and their children to camp out until they finally become heirs to everything that belonged to the children of the first family!

Laws

Laws

Here is an example of a law that was used to try to force compliance.

“It shall be unlawful for a person to stand or sit on a city sidewalk or city right-of-way so as to impede physically or by intimidation, free and uninterrupted pedestrian passage. A violation of this section shall be a class C misdemanor and your conviction shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00).”

Laws written by government punish. There is no forgiveness and there is no love.

Are you like Martha or are you like Mary?

Are you like Martha or are you like Mary?

Martha was busy receiving guests into her home and preparing food. Her sister, Mary, sat at Jesus’s feet and listened his his words. Martha complained to Jesus.

Jesus said, “Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”(Luke 10:41-42)

We are offending many of our children today!

Because of adultery, we are offending many of our children today!

Jesus said, “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity (adultery) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matthew 24:10-12)

Too many laws!

Too many laws!

The following is a report written by politifact.org regarding words spoken by former Texas Congressman, Ron Paul.

“In addition to saying that the nation has “too much tyranny”, the Lake Jackson congressman criticized the number of people behind bars, saying he doesn’t think that’s a reflection of how “bad” Americans are. His explanation: “I think we have too many laws on the books is what I think. Just on Jan 1 of this year (2012), there were 40,000 new laws put on the books in one day.”

Our fathers are like umbrellas

Our fathers are like umbrellas – they were created to provide for and to protect all of their children. Sons and grandsons are next in line to provide for a father’s future generations. This is the reason that a second wife and her children should never be given priority over the first family.

The Homeless

The Homeless

It is easy to understand how we could have so many homeless men and women. Our laws beat them down until it is almost impossible to recover. Many will finally just give up trying.

This is exactly the way that Judah and his brothers would have wanted it. They wanted everything that belonged to Jacob, their father, and to Joseph, their half-brother.

We must not let the second family have it all. We must begin again to uplift our first families the way that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did. The second family is last and not first!

Where is God in this land?

Where is God in a land that promotes adultery?

In a land that promotes adultery, you will find three common practices.

1. Punishment is the norm when laws are broken.

2. Repentance is discouraged.

3. Forgiveness never happens.

Exile in jail or prison, the Miranda warning, and the labeling of law breakers are examples.

“Time in prison may not be the only consequence of a felony conviction in Texas. There are also many statutes, administrative rules, state court rules, and federal court rules that place further restrictions on convicted felons in Texas.” sll.texas.gov

Fixing our Problems

Fixing our Problems –

Writing more laws and incarcerating more people are not going to solve our problems. In 2008 alone, over one in every one hundred adults was either in jail or prison. We must put God first in our families and keep the first family first always! The adulterous second family must be last and not first!
